Building Bridges between Africa and Europe

Africa is the continent of tomorrow, the continent of entrepreneurs, growth and prosperity.

We are firmly anchored in both Africa and Europe. We combine skills from our offices in Frankfurt, Germany and Nairobi, Kenya. Our aim is to build bridges between the two continents. This bridge is essentially finance. Financing projects that can improve the living conditions of the African population is a key sector for the development of the African continent, but it is also a task that can rally the two continents around common projects.

Private capital cannot be mobilised without convincing financing strategies. However, the huge projects that Africa must undertake cannot be accomplished without the contribution of private capital.

Knowledge is the key to understanding. That’s why we provide investors with in-depth information on Africa’s capital markets. To achieve this, we work with specialists in all sectors, but we have also developed our own analytical skills. As a result, we are able to cover all the financial markets in Africa, from the major financial centres and stock exchanges to private equity and venture capital financing.

This way, investors can base their decisions on reliable information and African companies get easier access to international sources of financing.

From Cape Town to the North Cape

We share profoundly the conviction of French economist Jean-Louis Guigou: Africa, the Mediterranean rim and Europe should build a unified economic space. Therefore, Europe should Africa fully integrate in the value creation chain of its manufacturing sector.

The future of Africa is not being a sales market for European companies. The challenge will be to industrialise Africa, to build the companies in Africa that serve the needs of their African customers, and to integrate the continent into the global economy on a fair and just basis. Africa Partners aspires to contribute to this South-North integration – and to create one single market from Cape Town to the North Cape.

Our aim is to build bridges between Africa and Europe.

Responsible finance

At Africa Partners, we share the belief that we should leave our planet in a better shape than we found it. Respect for Creation demands respect for our environment and all life beings that live in it. We want to help ensure that we use the resources of our planet responsibly. That is why we feel strongly obliged to incorporate the principles of responsible finance into our daily work.

Africa Partners recognizes the need to drive corporate responsibility, to live these principles each day by treating our employees and business partners honestly and fairly. We strive to preserve our environment to the best of our ability. Honest conduct and the principles of good faith are in our view the foundation of business life.

We require all our employees and business partners to fully commit to total compliance with best business practice. Our integrity and the trust of our business partners are at the heart of our corporate identity.
